Volunteers Needed

The ELLA Foundation, a 501(c)3 whose mission is to prevent violence and to advocate for human rights through education, criminal justice reform, and victim & prisoner advocacy, is seeking volunteers to help with our “I Have A Voice” therapeutic program for children with a parent/caregiver/loved one in prison.

The workshop begins May 13, 2013 and meets on the 2^nd Monday of each month from 6-8pm at Greater Faith Institutional Church at 3514 MLK Drive, San Antonio, TX, 78220.

We also need volunteers to help with the following activities:

Community/Media Outreach
Helping kids with writing skills
Self-publishing of “I Have A Voice” book
Photography/Videotaping
Administrative Work
Fundraising
Grant writing

All volunteers must attend a volunteer orientation and training session before they can begin to volunteer. Dates for session will be provided at time of registration.
